Valentine's Day Striptease

This workshop will teach a full striptease routine along with some really fun and deadly exotic dance moves. NO dance experience is needed and NO other kind of experience either. If you have a Valentine, great. If you don’t, great. These two hours we spend feeling fantastic and sexy in our bodies is a gift for everyone; regardless of your relationship status. Feeling heartbroken? Frustrated? Lonely? Uninspired? Wonderful? Happy? Dejected? Where ever you are in your head these days, get into your body and let it all melt away for a blissful 2 hours. You will leave with a smile on your face and tingle all over your body!

To bring:
A pair of heels.
A “under” outfit consisting of whatever you want to show after you remove a top and bottom layer. There is NO expectation here; you can go down to a bra and underwear or a pair of pyjamas.
A top layer. This can be a button-down shirt and skirt, a t-shirt and skirt, a dress, a snowsuit or whatever. Do a quick test at home to make sure that your outfit can be taken off without too much swearing and tugging. But anything goes; go with what you feel great in.
A yoga mat.
A bottle of water.

The most delicious and powerful feminine movement

Around 2003, I came across Sheila Kelley’s book “The S Factor” in a bookstore. I devoured the book and thought, this is the way I want to move. The way I like to move. But I wasn’t sure that Toronto was ready for it yet. The movement had just started in Los Angeles but as far as I knew, it hadn’t come north yet. There was nothing like it in Toronto. So I offered a one-day workshop in “The Art of Stripping”. When I had 35 women sign up, I knew that Toronto ladies were ready and very interested in connecting to their most feminine movement.

From there, I taught the Art of Stripping and Exotic Dance until my interests took me into another direction. But having taught hundreds of women at classes, private parties, workshops and conferences, I experienced the transformation and journey that women went on during the sessions and in fact, I went on one myself. It remains, in my mind, the most powerful and transformative class I offer.

Why 2 hours? I thought this class needed 2 hours. Women need to unwind, relax, forget about that day and what needs to be done after class (always so much!), slow down, get into their bodies, warm-up and then unleash. Although this course is based on physical movement, it is a spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical transformation.

The short description of the style of dance we’ll do is that it is everything that feels liberating and RIGHT on a woman’s body. The longer description is the course.
Each class includes a 45 minute warm-up that will stretch, strengthen, massage and adore the entire body. Then we move into learning movements that fit our bodies to a T. We will learn floor, standing and wall moves. At the end of the course, we will have a full routine developed. We will also spend some time on striptease and lapdance techniques. This is a course that will make your body, mind and spirit hum.
